In accordance with the Presidential Decree from March 24, 2023 № PD-102 "On additional measures to reduce state participation in the economy", it is approved to offer for public auction state shares in 1001 enterprises and 1046 properties, as well as the list of 40 enterprises which shares are realized through "National IPO" on the principle of "one share - one lot".
In order to accelerate the awareness and promotion of the content of this decree in the regions, on August 2 this year, the State Assets Management Agency held its regular "Roadshow" presentation of state assets to be privatized in Surkhandarya region, in particular state shares in enterprises, state facilities and land plots.
The event was attended by over 200 representatives of local khokimiyats, large enterprises of the region as well as entrepreneurs and investors.
The event was chaired by Deputy Director of the State Assets Management Agency Bekzod Usmonov, Head of territorial department of the State Assets Management Agency in Surkhandarya region Saydullo Khalikov and first Deputy of the Surkhandarya region Khokimiyat Anvar Oripov.
The "Roadshow" participants were informed about the work carried out in Surkhandarya region in 2022. Particularly, the territorial department of the State Assets Management Agency offered 124 state assets for public auction and 32 assets were sold for 70,1 billion soums with condition of payment in installments. Moreover, during 2022, 6006 land plots with total area of 202,6 hectares were e-auctioned for entrepreneurs and individuals and 909 land plots with total area of 54,1 hectares were sold for 18,2 billion soums.
At the same time, in accordance with Presidential Decree №PD-102 from March 24, 2023, at the event were presented 49 state assets and assets of enterprises with state participation, as well as 34 real estate objects, which are oferred for public auction in Surkhandarya region.
In addition, the participants of the event were given explanations on the procedure for privatization of non-agricultural land plots previously owned by them on the right of permanent use or lifetime ownership.
In turn, representatives of the State Assets Management Agency conducted a "master class" on the use of the electronic trading platform "E-auksion" and explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the platform, obtaining an electronic signature online and participation in the auction.
During the "Roadshow" which was held at a high level and lively with questions and answers, the deputy director of the State Assets Management Agency Bekzod Usmonov and other responsible executives of the region answered a number of questions from the participants and the mass media.
At the same time, in the second half of the day, a Press Tour was organized for the media representatives to visit the state assets in Surkhandarya region and provided information on the projects being implemented.
This event will continue in all districts and cities of the Surkhandarya region.
As of today, similar events have been held in Fergana, Andijan, Namangan, Navai, Kashkadarya, Bukhara and Khorezm regions and will also be held in the coming days in all other regions of the republic, Tashkent city and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
