The UzSAMA scored 86 points among state organizations in the rating of anti-corruption efficiency, going up two positions in the rating

The Anti-Corruption Agency assessed 95 state bodies and organizations for the year 2023. The rating of anti-corruption efficiency was assessed on a scale from 0 to 100 points, and the efficiency of the State Assets Management Agency was assessed as "good" with 87 points (81 points in the previous year), which raised the Agency to 2 positions in the rating.

According to the Anti-Corruption Agency, in order to ensure the impartiality of the results, an Independent Expert Group for the rating assessment was formed, consisting of representatives of civil society institutions, who independently and impartially reviewed the results of the Anti-Corruption Agency's assessment and presented their conclusions.

It was also noted that in the activities of 42 state organizations, the category of which was recognized as "good" according to the results of the assessment, including the State Assets Management Agency, the relevant anti-corruption measures were systematically implemented. In particular, it was noted that based on the results of corruption risk assessment, targeted measures were developed and effectively implemented, the corruption factor was eliminated in the process of various tenders, and systematic measures were taken to educate employees and the public in the spirit of anti-corruption intolerance.

Based on the results of the rating assessment, the positive experience of state organizations rated "good" in the anti-corruption activities will be popularized. State organizations with the "satisfactory" category will be given recommendations for further improvement of their anti-corruption activities. State organizations rated "unsatisfactory" will develop a program of measures aimed at eliminating the identified shortcomings and improving their activities in this area.
