In accordance with the Presidential Decree from March 24, 2023 № PD-102 "On additional measures to reduce state participation in the economy", it is approved to offer for public auction state shares in 1001 enterprises and 1046 properties, as well as the list of 40 enterprises which shares are realized through "public IPO" on the principle of "one share - one lot".
In order to accelerate the awareness and promotion of the content of this decree in the regions, on May 13 this year, the State Assets Management Agency held its regular "Roadshow" of state assets to be privatized in Andijan region, in particular state shares in enterprises, state facilities and land plots.
The event was attended by over 500 representatives of local Khokimiyats, large enterprises of the region as well as entrepreneurs and investors.
The event was chaired by Deputy Director of the State Assets Management Agency Alisher Miraliyev, Head of Territorial Administration of the State Assets Management Agency in Andijan region Artikmirza Alimjanov and First Deputy of the Ferghana region Khokimiyat Dilshodbek Karimov.
The Roadshow participants were informed about the work carried out in Andijan region in 2022. Particularly, the territorial department of the State Assets Management Agency offered 132 state assets for public auction and 67 assets were sold for 66,3 billion soums with condition of payment in installments. Moreover, during 2022 3215 land plots with total area of 158,2 hectares were e-auctioned for entrepreneurs and individuals and 716 land plots with total area of 76,2 hectares were sold for 40,0 billion soums.
At the same time, in accordance with Presidential Decree № PD-102 from March 24, 2023, at the event were presented 75 state assets and assets of enterprises with state participation, as well as 41 real estate objects, which are oferred for public auction in Andijan region, including 20% of shares of "Andijan biokimyo zavodi" JSC that are proposed for public IPO on the principle of "one share - one lot".
In addition, the participants of the event were given explanations on the procedure for privatization of non-agricultural land plots previously owned by them on the right of permanent use or lifetime ownership.
In turn, representatives of the State Assets Management Agency conducted a "master class" on the use of the electronic trading platform "E-auksion" and explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the platform, obtaining an electronic signature online and participation in the auction.
During the Roadshow, which was held at a high level and lively with questions and answers, the deputy director of the State Assets Management Agency Alisher Miraliyev and other responsible executives of the region answered a number of questions from the participants and the mass media.
At the same time, in the second half of the day, a Press Tour was organized for the media representatives to visit the state assets in Andijan region and provided information on the projects being implemented.
Similar events will be held during the year in all regions of the republic, Tashkent city and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
