In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №PD-6096 dated October 27, 2020, 30% of the supervisory boards of SOEs should be strengthened by attracting specialists with international experience in respective spheres (including compatriots working abroad) on the basis of international competition.

In this regard, Headhunter selection process is announced under the World Bank's Institutional Capacity Building Project, to support the Government in attracting independent members with international experience to the supervisory boards of large SOEs, as well as to form a pool of 100 qualified managers for executive positions.

The main tasks of a "Headhunter" company will be to study the composition of the supervisory boards of companies, analyze their activities, determine needs for vacant positions, determine the requirements for the candidates attracted to a specific position, and based on these requirements, assisting in recruiting international professional specialists in the sphere and forming nominations of at least 2 most suitable candidates for each position of the Board to UzSAMA.

Moreover, the selected company will create a reserve of TOP-100 managers with qualifications and experience to succeed in the spheres of operations of selected SOEs.
