In accordance with the Presidential Decree from March 24, 2023 №PD-102 "On additional measures to reduce state participation in the economy", it is approved to offer for public auction state shares in 1001 enterprises and 1046 properties, as well as the list of 40 enterprises which shares are realized through "People's IPO" on the principle of "one share - one lot".
In order to accelerate the awareness and promotion of the content of this decree in the regions, on August 23 this year, the State Assets Management Agency held its regular "Roadshow" presentation of state assets to be privatized in Tashkent region, in particular state shares in enterprises, state facilities and land plots.
The event was attended by over 200 representatives of local khokimiyats, large enterprises of the region as well as entrepreneurs and investors.
The event was chaired by Deputy Director of the State Assets Management Agency Alisher Miraliev, Head of territorial department of the State Assets Management Agency in Tashkent region Sardor Jumaev and a Khokim of Tashkent region Zoir Mirzaev.
The "Roadshow" participants were informed about the work carried out in Tashkent region in 2022. Particularly, the territorial department of the State Assets Management Agency offered 104 state assets for public auction and 28 assets were sold for 94,8 billion soums with condition of payment in installments. Moreover, during 2022, 6815 land plots with total area of 424,5 hectares were e-auctioned for entrepreneurs and individuals and 1 597 land plots with total area of 203,0 hectares were sold for 49,1 billion soums.
At the same time, in accordance with Presidential Decree №PD-102 from March 24, 2023, at the event were presented 193 state assets and assets of enterprises with state participation, as well as 91 real estate objects, which are oferred for public auction in Tashkent region.
In addition, citizens who had previously privatized non-agricultural land plots owned by them on the right of permanent use or lifetime possession were handed state orders confirming their ownership rights, and the other participants of the event were given explanations on the procedure of this process.
In turn, representatives of the State Assets Management Agency conducted a "master class" on the use of the electronic trading platform "E-auksion" and explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the platform, obtaining an electronic signature online and participation in the auction.
During the "Roadshow" which was held at a high level and lively with questions and answers, the deputy director of the State Assets Management Agency Alisher Miraliev and other responsible executives of the region answered a number of questions from the participants and the mass media.
At the same time, in the second half of the day, a Press Tour was organized for the media representatives to visit the state assets in Tashkent region and provided information on the projects being implemented.
This event will continue in all districts and cities of the Tashkent region.
As of today, similar events have been held in all regions of the republic and and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
